AS5831/2High Performance Non-Isolated LED Driver/Controller

DESCRIPTION

The AS5831 and AS5832 are specially designed for non-isolated LED driver, without a need of using transformer, which simplify PCB design. They both provide a buck solution with high PFC control for LED lighting. It is easy to design with minimum cost and PCB size.

The AS5832 integrates a 600V power MOSFET, while the AS5831 is without the power MOSFET. The both devices operate in boundary mode and require low operating current, can achieve precise output current and great line regulation while adapting universal power input range (85VAC~265VAC) for LED driver.

The AS5831 and AS5832 feature rich protection functions to maximize system reliability and safety requirements, including LED open protection (OVP), LED short protection (ZCD UVP), over current protection (OCP), CS short protection (CSSP), open feedback protection and over temperature protection (OTP).
